Considering Mayweather Fought Berto, Would You Be Upset If Pacquiao Fought Matthysse

There have been loads of rumours flying around in the past 24 hours that Pacquiao may still fight Matthysse in a fair well fight. Apparently as a favour Oscar had promised him a Canelo fight in return. Considering Mayweather has supposedly gone out fighting Berto, would this match up disappoint you? Lucas is coming off a bad loss however this is stylistically a solid and entertaining match up.

if it's pac last fight then it shouldnt be matthysse, and I think lucas needs a tune up first before getting to him, manny will body him

Yes I'd be upset because Pacquiao can do better and Matthysse would be coming off a loss and he would destroy Matthysse stylistically.

No because in comparison, Matthysse has done far more than Berto has done in the last 2-3 years.

However there's little chance Pacquiao fights an Al Haymon managed fighter because of the lawsuit Arum filed against him. They're probably not on good terms. Khan or Crawford are better opponents than Matthysse right now.

Manny officially lost to all his best opponents this decade....JMM, Mayweather, and Bradley


his other opponents were gimmes Algieri and Rios moving up

washed up mosley who was 1-1-1 in his last 3 fights and Margarito after a year suspension and tko loss to mosley(beat a journeyman before the Pac fight)



He has already had his fair share of gimme fights



Either he fights a REAL welterweight, move down to 140 or just freaking retire.....Top rank has a shallow pool of taent from 140-147 anyway

matthysse is a tune up fight......and a B minus fight at best so i guess i can't be mad because pac is coming off getting schooled. would be nice to see matthysse get the fight coming off a win though but that's how Poochiao like his opponents......low confidence and coming off L's
