It sounds like Verdejo's not in serious danger, but he did suffer some sort of head trauma. Another boxer, Pitufo Diaz, says that Verdejo's conscious and speaking to the people around him.

Overall, it looks like he took a hard hit to the head that, while not impacting his ability to move forward in his career, will inevitably slow things down for the moment. Not to mention that it's never good for anyone, let alone a boxer, to take such a blow to the head.

Let's hope it doesn't affect anything.

...I saw that fcuking sheitt, the dude has lacerations... He was riding a fcuking old beat up dirt bike with bald tires, supposedly trying to avoid a pothole...the island's roads and highways are full of them, but like everybody here knows riding a bike in the states is not the same over here...not many obey the laws or posted speed limits and zigzagging in between and around vehicles...he was lucky today was a nice sunny day because the last couple of days we were getting hit with a lot of rain...I think he was coming from the Juncos Juventud Festival...he was riding it like he stole it!!
