Frank Maloney is steering his exciting lightweight prospect John Fewkes away from a meeting with Amir Khan for the time being at least.Fewkes who has won all of his 17 professional bouts to date will challenge Martin Gethin for the vacant English title on September 5th.However Frank Warren offered Fewkes the chance to take on Commonwealth champion Amir Khan the following night in Manchester.
