Joe Calzaghe or Alex Reid?

So yesterday at work a work colleague was reading Joe was going the batter Alex "The Cross Dresser" Reid in a street fight. My friend said Alex would kill Joe in a fight. I laught and said **** off, no way. He made out that because he was a cage fighter would "kill" Joe in a street fight. Whats your opinion?

It's hard to really say. Joe's hands are obviously a million times better. But if he is not used with leg kicks and grappling etc, then the Reid fella could very well beat him. He doesn't look like a particularly good mixed martial artist, going by his record. But still, even a reasonable fighter has an advantage over a boxer in an MMA fight.

That being said, MMA is not street fighting, where there are no rules. Anything can happen in those situations.
