Until either of them is in with real competition I think its difficult to say who is the better prospect. Avenesyan will be a good measuring stick to see where Kelly is at and if he's close to being reading for the world champions. Hopefully Ennis can get a step up fight soon too.
Kelly beats Ennis now? How about November of 2019?

Kelly is better. Ennis is not even the fastest WW prospect - Razhab Butaev is.

Lets be real all the best Welterweight prospects are from Europe - Alexander Besputin, Egidijius Kavaliauskas, Kerman Lejarraga,Eimantis Stanionis, Razhab Butaev, Josh Kelly, Ivan Golub, Sergey Lubkovich, Serhii Bohachuk, Taras Shelestyuk, Lewis Crocker, Aaron Mckenna, Shakhabas Makhmudov.

Most threads on this forum ate about the Welterweight division because this is a predominately American forum with lots if Dontae Subscribing racists and Welterweight is the ONLY division that USA still dominates. It'll be interesting to see how much welterweight us talked about when it goes exactly the same as all the other divisions

        Do you manage these fighters?

Anyways, Ennis is the better of the two IMO. Kelly has too many holes in his game, and will soon be exposed.

Hard to say, I like both prospects A LOT honestly, both have potential to be STARS.

However, in a loaded a strong 147 Division neither should be rushed, don't end up like Jamal James and Bryant Perralla and find yourself in with a Veteran like Ugas who revived his career eating Prospects for lunch. Guys like Collazo, Devon Alexander, Andre Berto, Thomas Dulorme are still very Dangerous especially for inexperienced prospects, that is how DEEP 147 is. Just watched Collazo take Bryant Perralla SOUL not long ago so these guys can still fight they just can't beat the Top guys at 147

Ennis's last 2 opponents are ranked 245 and 246 on Boxrec. Lets see how he does against a top 100 WW, then top 50 and then top 20 and we'll know what we have with Ennis. Kelly beat Kris George who's currently ranked 86th and he's about to fight Avanesyan who is 26th in the world so he's a lot further down the road in his development.

Listing boxrec ranked fighters mean nothing. Forget all that, neither has faced a big challenge yet. Molina was a decent challenge for Kelly but obviously his best days are far gone.

What do you think Ennis does with George? Both are past those types of opponents.

Avanesyan indeed is a solid opponent for Kelly. Ennis needs someone like that soon as he's just crushing the current opposition.
