Wilder has a rematch clause, so Fury wins (and I suspect he will) he can't fight either and he'd be stripped of the IBF. The IBF strips belts harshly so I doubt they'd even let the unification in.
Wilder could opt to fight him now or unification is out realistically. |

I hate belts. I hate politics.
I am a huge Usyk fan. Love the guy. Think he is class and has accomplished so much more than he is given credit for. But when push comes to shove, Pulev deserves this shot more. Usyk received the #1 status through what he did as a CW, Pulev has earned it for what he has done as a HW. Whatever shakes out of this moronic soap opera it would be unfair to push Usyk ahead of Pulev. |

Team Usyk says it wants to fight Joshua for the WBO title but forcing their mandatory as soon as possible shows they would rather fight for a vacant title. If they really wanted Joshua they would let him face Pulev in March which is most likely and then enforce their mandatory after that.
These Eastern Euro fighters all say one thing and their actions are the complete opposite. Usyk just wants to fight for a vacant title against a no hoper. |

AJ has to protect his jaw. Usyk is too small to hurt him, so AJ is happy to do that. Pulev has a better chance in my book, because he can do damage. Usyk is better on skills, but He's not a KO artist, not even at cruiser. AJ is a walking target, an A side rabbit and the knives are out. Everybody knows he's soft in the head.

Dude demands his title shot and it's because he wants to get a vacant title, huh? So what does it mean if he doesn't demand his title shot?Image View Removed. Please Click Here.
