when any vaccine is considered one should try to only use what is necessary. I don't do flu shots either... I don't want my kids to take the shot either.

We are generally inundated with vaccines. Every pharmacy advertises flu shots, etc... Its the same attitude that has caused serious problems with antibiotic resistance. All that antibacterial soap, and the requests people make for antibiotics from doctors has caused the antibiotics to not be effective. meanwhile in societies like Northern Europe where antibiotics are used judiciously, they have a lot less problems.
