We do. A damn near 40 year old retired welter at that. These guys are nuts.

      • Mayweather is too small never understood why they keep pushing for it im guessing they just want to see floyd lose but it is a mismatch because of the size difference

That's EXACTLY why....Canelo was their hope, Cotto was their hope, Oscar, Maidana, and then of course manny....they ALL failed lol...too bad

          • This should have never been entertained but then again you had dickheads like Skip Bayless who was allowed to talk boxing on Firsttake and people started entertaining it. Golovkin would have been the first opponent to completely disregard Mayweather's power, I mean a bigger Brook couldn't even shake him and that fight was a circus.

Then why is Ward a light heavyweight now?

Lmao you all are so ****ing stupid it's beyond any level of normal human understanding...luckily you GayLoveKin c0cksuckers lack any real boxing knowledge, let alone intellect.
You've been doing nothing but trolling this whole time so you might as well just shut up because you ain't even worth talking to anyway.

You can argue Pac also had a safety first mentality with the catchweights he used win belts at 47/54. Funny enough though, he gets more recogntion for beatig fighters Floyd already defeated. He's a great fighter, a legend, but Floyd was better boxer and also has the better resume.
Sure danny has taken a couple of soft fights, but he still has a better resume than most current champions, and age is on his side too. He'd be forced to take those fights that can elevelate him to legend status. If he wins them is another story. But a fighter like GGG, while it's clear he's the best MW ATM. He doesn't seem eager to make the necessary sacrifice to make the big fights. Yet fans still protect him more than Oscar does Canelo.
You can argue Floyd has the better resume because he never lost wich is quite impressive even if the Castillo 1 result is debatable regarding the pretty good level of opposition Floyd fought.

However, Floyd fought good comp, but compared to legends like Leonard or Duran, he fought a very lesser comp (other era, agreed).

Hell, even Manny fought harder competition IMO.

Floyd never fought a great fighter close to his prime, Manny did (Barrera, Marquez twice) and beat them.

Plus, Manny beat the same fighters Floyd beat, but Manny is coming from very lower weights, so it's more impressive from Manny to beat a big guy like Cotto.

Floyd like to remind us he started at 130 as a point for not fighting for the 160 belt, when he's compared to GGG who never moved up.

Well, Manny started at 106, so it's more valuable than Floyd's move since "great fighters" move up.

According to Floyd, moving up is taking risks, well, Manny fought in 9 different divisions (winning 7 titles at least some of those divisions)

Manny took more risks, most definitely.

Floyds and his flumos can't have it both ways.

I don't think anybody would've even entertained the idea of this fight had it not been for Floyd running his mouth, saying he could beat Golovkin easily. What's worse is that I've seen a few people under here saying Floyd probably could outbox Golovkin, believe or not.

You'd think Floyd would be really pushing for a fight with Golovkin if he's really confident in what he's saying but the reality is that even HE knows he's full of crap because anybody with good sense knows that he would get straight up slaughtered by Golovkin. So rather than admitting something as obvious as that, he instead hides behind Andre Ward as an excuse to not take the fight when in fact he wouldn't take the fight even if Golovkin did beat Ward.

Beating them wasnt unthinkable. He was the favourite to beat them and did just that.

So what you are saying is Floyd is underdog so shouldn't take risks? Similar to brook v GGG perhaps. Similar to rjj v Ruiz even maybe, or Tyson v Douglas?

Floyd may win. Unless you take risk how do yoiu knoiw? Has a mismatch never happened and the one written off won?
