K2 Promotions' Tom Loeffler, who handles IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs), says their side is ready to finalize the rematch with Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs). Loeffler says the Mexican fighter has do only one thing to make it happen - agree to take the fight and sign the contract.

Yes Tom we know both you and Triple g want the rematch and you said yes to the fight but have you said yes to what Golden Boy promotions has offered you???
Or are you still trying to push your weight around with your 97,000 ppv man??

In all fairness, Loeffler would prefer those headlines to born surface as he’s generally responding the same way Oscar’s team would, but GBP isn’t tacky and Oscar is a proven fighter.

It’s the fanboy writers that ride with K2 that make these articles

        Yeah you got a point.
I do believe they'll rematch in May so I think eventually K2 promotions will come to their senses and agree to whatever it is Golden Boy promotions is offering them cause they know if they don't accept they gotta fight Charlo soon for alot less money so of course they'll try to cash out.

While this is the fight to make yet again I hate that GGG is gonna sit out waiting for Canelo.

Phuck Canelita! Move on! I hate triple g for going after canela instead of fighting 3-4 times in a year. There are lot of options. Charlo, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, Lara, Andrade...

Here we go again! GGG's team negotiation strategy of whining in public to garner sympathy and pressure GB. We have heard from GGG and Loeffler in the last couple of days, next will be the trainer Abel Sanchez followed by the GGG fanboys, then Loeffler again and so on. This gets old! Man up and STFU. Negotiate in private and then make a public statement when the deal is done.

All Canelo has to do is say "yes" yet they haven't even agreed to a venue. Hmmmm? Typical Team GGG media strategy. Talking loud, saying nothing.

Oh so it's GGGs teams fault that just like the first time, they're doing everything possible to make the fight and Canelo and Golden Boy are stalling again so GGG continues to get older? Great logic. They should just shut up and let golden boy do whatever they want. Even though he didn't beat GGG the first time. Good thing nothing you say matters.
