  • Blueprint for beating Pac

After watching the Mosley fight and all three of the Marquez fights again there is a clear blueprint for success against Pacquiao.
    1) Don't walk towards him, let him come to you. Guys who tried to walk him down got put to sleep or had their eye socket broken, but guys who waited for him were able to nullify most of his offense.
    2) Get off first. When he gets hit first is when his offense is least effective. If Marquez would have been more consistent with this step it would have been a shut out.
    3) When Pacquiao tries to trade punches circle to your right and watch his left. This is how Mosley and Marquez were able to avoid getting iced.

There's cheapshots tho. When people are paying money for a ppv, the last thing they want to see if one fight pretending to hug the other and then one fighter lay out the other when its clear as day that they're apologizing for the headbutt earlier. No class what so ever.

Circle to his right, have a good right hand, and be a counter puncher.

            You can beat Pacquiao now.

Im sorry, but did you guys start watching boxing this month? Hes already fought Marquez twice before, and lost clearly to a quickly fading Morales. This 'blueprint' as you like to call it was already created years ago.

The only problem is that you people bought into the hype that Pacquiao has evolved into this completely different fighter, when in reality that was never the case, and there has been very little change in him since the 2nd Marquez fight. I would argue that hes changed little even before that fight.

No fighter, in the history of boxing, no matter how great, was ever flawless. Every single one had weaknesses, and styles that gave them fits.

Mosley did one thing well which is move away from Pac's left but he did nothing else. Marquez did that in addition to the other things.
