Hey I am a nerd. I don't just know Yoda, I know his species. Boba Fett used to be called Jaster Mereel and Han Solo has stripes on his pants from his time in the Corellian navy. I've forgotten more about the Star Wars expanded universe than George Lucas will ever know, but the point is the same: Yoda is not obscure.
