I still don't get how many boxing fans lack the most basic statement in boxing which is styles make fights.

JMM is a counter puncher. He will always shine and do his best against a guy who comes to him and attacks. Floyd is a stylistic nightmare for JMM because JMM is forced to be the aggressor, thus eliminating the best part of his game. It's real simple stuff here.
This right here. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Pacquiao and it's not even close! Mayweather forced Marquez to move up two weight classes from lightweight and deliberately missed weight!

Marquez has had a few years to grow into the weight and get used to it.

This is exactly what Floyd was waiting for, hoping someone else would catch Pacquiao so he would never have to deal with him and not be pressured to fight him.

So let's have it then, Mayweather vs Marquez II for May 4th.

        Marquez was the same.

you can tell who are the deluded Mayweather fanatics, even suggesting that they're the same is a joke, and it's really only being said by his die hard fanatics to give Mayweather more credit.

If Mayweather wanted more credit he wouldn't have came in over weight and fought him at WW. Infact if he wanted more credit he wouldn't have blatantly ducked Pacquiao.

Yea, Marquez would lose to Mayweather again but that will never take away the fact that his name will always be associated with ducking Pacquiao.

Marquez had fought Diaz at 135 the fight before he faced Mayweather at 147, in 2009 so he had to go up two divisions and he didn't appear to do it in a very effective way.

Against Pacquiao in the 4th fight, he was in the best condition he's ever been in, having hired a dedicated strength and conditioning coach, but he was three years older.

So who actually fought the best version of 147 Marquez.. Pacquiao or Mayweather?

Even though Marquez looked less muscular in the Floyd fight There was no real speed difference between the Marquez/Pacquiao and Marquez/Floyd.Don`t even try to say there was cause i watched both fights.

And Marquez did`nt lose any speed moving up 2 weight classes either.Floyd was just way to fast for him.Plus Floyd was coming off a 2 year layoff.

Pac also forced Marquez to move up 2 weight classes in their 3rd fight and Floyd only outweighed Marquez by 4 pounds on fight night and used his speed and skill to win fights, not his size.Floyd has fought Ortiz who outweighed him by 14 pounds,Oscar who outweighed him by 15-20 pounds and so on and so on.

Wouldn't matter what version of JMM that May would have face, he still would have dominated him. Period. I mean, he was off for almost two years and pitched a shut out.

JMM now will destroy Floyd. And im not basing that on his performance last night. Im basing it on him properly adding weight and muscle and doing what he need to do to prepare for this fight. Its what he didnt do with FLoyd. He shot up TWO divisions to fight Floyd who cheated him on the scales and weighed so much on fight night he refused to get on the unofficial scale! Jmm drank piss last time. He went to the gym and made himself fit to be there naturally! Floyd struggled with Cotto in last fight. LOL JMM will destroy Floyd. Manny will destroy him as well!
