hopkins fought plenty of guys his own size and bigger. the reason he fought smaller guys is he cleaned out the MW division and the only ppl left to fight were ppl coming up. just like hagler taking on the likes of hearns, leonard and duran. before that he had fought mustapha hamsho three times, just like hopkins fought robert allen three times, antwon echols twice etc and they werent even close fights, its just that there was nobody else to fight for bhop. hbop was so dominant he ran out of challengers and that void was filled by guys coming up in weight looking to test their luck.

At least Hopkins beats the smaller fighters he fights unlike Chad Dawson. This thread is a combo of Calzombies and Dawson fans to hate on Hopkins. I guess people want to leave out the fact that Calzaghe made a career out of pulling out of fights with cheap injuries against good fighters. Glen Johnson should ring a bell.
