Should Vasyl Lomachenko consider retirement if he loses to Guillermo Rigondeaux?

No he shouldn't retire if he loses a close fight to Rigo who is a PFP top 10 fighter. It's far more likely he will win and you could ask should Rigo retire after losing to Loma? A boxer retiring is a personal choice. There are boxers who haven't won a fight in years who are not retired. Roy Jones is a very wealthy man who will never again win a world title and is in his 40s and he won't retire.

What do you readers think? If Lomachenko loses, would he still remain relevant as an elite boxer? Would his other accomplishments be valued after losing to Rigondeaux? Other than money, would he benefit much from continuing boxing?

Of course he should retire and get a job at Walmart selling tires.
It's always funny to hear people who have never won anything in the sports world talk about losing a competition.
They think it's a shameful outcome to lose because they think that winning is the only reason to compete. They never understand that losing is a big part of competing.
The greatest boxers of all time have lost!
