And Douglas was never gonna beat Tyson.

And Randall was never gonna beat Chavez.

And Roy Jones would never lose...

And so on and so on.

When a fighter gets older and keeps risking his "0" by fighting quality guys, anything can happen.

      No fighter is unbeatable.

Douglas was 50:1 against Tyson. Ortiz at the longest is 8:1 v Floyd.........it would be the boxing upset of the last few years, but not even close to biggest upset ever.

it would throw a wrench in the biggest fight of all time

it would be a huge huge huge deal. i honestly think it would be a huge blow to boxing. victor ortiz is not the charismatic fighter they thought he was. he's kind of a bonehead

i just cant imagine it happening (and single handedly ruining the chance to see manny and mayweather fight for 3 million ppvs plus)

...and this also means that pac is fighting the tougher compettion than floyd once again.....

Ortiz has some serious power on both hands, it wouldn't be out of the question for him to KO Mayweather if he lands cleanly enough. The only way for Ortiz to beat Mayweather is brutally, a viscous knockout and that would easily be upset of the year.

listen to yourself for lil.....you say it will be the biggest upset, right?...why?...becuase none expects ortiz to win....right?..if no one expects to win, it means that it is not a tough fight for floyd , right?.....you get what im sayin?.....you cannot say ortiz beating floyd is the biggest upset but claim it is the toughest competition for a fighter like floyd at the same time....thats two conflicting statements right there....

Even the TS is confused. He's talking about upset when he claims that this is so far the toughest competition for Floyd in years. You don't talk about upset when you think the fight is 50/50.

When was the last time any fighter was expected to win against Floyd? Once you realize that the only fighter even close to Floyd's level at welterweight is Manny, then the pieces may fall into place for you.
