  • Wilder is the least marketable hw champ of all time

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxin...ealed-13670707

Wilder relatively speaking has barely made any money in boxing for a major heavyweight champion.

In fact 13% of his entire wealth was made against the 50 year old Cuban.

He averages a meager $356k per fight that’s sad.

AJ on the other hand after 21 fights is worth $45 million.

Wilder is a nobody and the furious one will send him back to obscurity

I produced facts about his net worth then used this thing called math to average his per fight earnings excluding the Ortiz fight.

Think about how incredibly stupid this thread is.

Wilder is Showtime's biggest ratings draw. Wilder's last fight was the 2nd most successful fight in Barclays history.

Wilder is now the A-side of a major PPV. The first major PPV headlined by heavyweights in well over a decade.

Wilder didn't inherit a healthy heavyweight division. He inherited scorched earth. Heavyweight boxing was nearly dead in the US before Wilder came along. Champions such as John Ruiz, Chris Byrd, Shannon Briggs, Lamon Brewster, etc nearly drove the division into the ground.

Wilder's filed purse for his last fight was over $2 million, meaning he was likely paid around $4 million. No American heavyweights were making anywhere near that since maybe Roy Jones and Hasim Rahman many years earlier.

Wilder is making 8 figures tomorrow in the biggest heavyweight fight in the US since the days of Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson.

Joshua fans hate on Wilder because they know Wilder is Joshua's biggest threat. Plain and simple. You don't see them complaining about Bryant Jennings. You don't see them complaining about Amir Mansour. Wilder is clearly doing something right for Joshua fans to be so obsessed with him.

Lmao. The bottom tier of trolling/hating.

                Who gives a ***k

If he's putting on entertaining fights whyyyyy should I care about what a multi millionaire is making?

Wilder isn't the A-side Fury is. Wilder knows this and threw a tantrum at the presser because Fury was mentioning it.

I actually think he's very marketable

But Shelly Finkle and Lou Dabella are irrelevent promoters in 2018, I really wonder what they have been playing at.

Wilder would have been way better off with GBP imo
