They don't "forget". They just desperately want to believe that the fight didn't happen because Loma was scurred but it simply isn't true.

No, mate, I'm just stating obvious facts.
As for the rematch, I doubt anyone will be much interested to see it. And my guess is Rigo will be the least interested of all.

That came down to equal skills but the fighter with the better game plan won. I can name a number of guys who hit harder than guys at higher weights so power is relative to the fighter, not their weight. There are many cases of fighters moving up in weight and not only not being hurt by the bigger guy but knocking out the bigger guy instead. Until otherwise proven, Rigo is noted as having the power advantage. He also beat guys who were much taller who clearly weighed more and did so because of his skills. And he also has the reach advantage over Lom which obviously counts in boxing. There is a reason people are calling this the best skills matchup in boxing because skills are what will determine the winner which even Rigo has pointed out. That is why everyone is talking strategy and how each guy can win. Two equally skilled fighters close in size will come down to who came in with the right game plan and who can adjust and even re-adjust if needed. It will come down to if Rigo can counter Lom coming in and lower Lom's workrate by making him miss and making him pay, and going to the body, or if Lom's workrate and angles will be too much for Rigo who is not used to a guy who uses so many angles. The best skilled fighter with the best game plan will win.

Having watched the bout, I will state one important thing. Although Lomachenko definitely HAD the size / weight advantage. He didn't rely on his size / weight advantage to win by not using it (relying on his greater punch resistance from being heavier by walking through Rigondeaux's punches or relying on landing punches with raw power). Instead, he won by purely using boxing skills (evading most of Rigondeaux's punches whilst landing more punches of his own whilst purposely reducing the power of his punches so Rigondeaux isn't overwhelmed by the raw power of him being heavier).

So it was definitely a 'skillful' display by Lomachenko and he won because of 'skills'.

However, that doesn't still change the fact that weight definitely matters if a boxer does use their weight advantage (relying on greater raw power and greater punch resistance from being heavier). However, that wasn't the case with Lomachenko against Rigondeaux.
