  • Any of you into kenpo karate?

Such a beautiful yet destructive art in my opinion, when executed by a master practitioner.

I heard you got fat, got your butt kicked by a bad boy from a rival dojo, then won on a fluke in sudden death overtime.

ok.... he took actual Goju Ryu karate..... a REAL karate style

when Ed Parker started "teaching" he was only a brown belt and that "book" he wrote he didnt write it at all..... his chinese friend (who taught kung fu/chinese kenpo) wrote all of it and ed took the credit

            Oh damn.

A brown belt from William Chow is worth more than a black belt from many other systems.

Ed Parker wrote a book before the one you are talking about. Although you are correct that "Secrets of Chinese Karate" was heavily written by James Wing Woo and that Parker didn't give him any credit.

yea I would like to know who told you that lie.....

              have you seen their testing?

I dont even get why they make it public it looks so bad. All they are gonna do is get people hurt in the street when a real altercation happens

William Chow trained Adriano Emperado, Ed Parker, and Ralph Castro. To name a few.

All of whom were huge influences in the early days of martial arts in America.

                It's a legit art.

Those so called kung fu masters and shaolin monks get their asses kicked in K-1 ..

It just makes them look like jokes getting beat on in real fights lol.
