Muhammed Ali talks about the Starbucks controversy

When I was fresh from the military I moved to South Carolina. First time I had ever been denied service in a bar. The guy I was with was Caucasian and wanted to get all mouthy with the bartender but I told him to take a look around before he kept running his mouth and got us killed. They guy behind the bar told my friend it was the most sensible thing he ever heard a non-member say. I half dragged him out the door and told him if I don't get indignant over the color of my skin then to never ever do that **** for me again.

If you don't like the color of my skin or the heritage I'm born to then I'll spend my dollars with people that are of like mind and tolerant to my beliefs. I don't feel like I'm that important that I have to shove myself down someone's throat.
