The UFC is probably more popular than boxing but the top boxers make lots more money than any MMA fighters. Dana White seems to have a monopoly and runs his empire with an iron hand. UFC fighters take whatever pay he offers and fight whoever he says to fight and they don't seem to have any say in the matter. Boxing isn't like that and boxers have options if they don't think they are being treated fairly. The boxers make most of the money because they do the fighting. The promoters still make good money without getting punched. In the UFC it seems the fighters make the least money while Dana gets richer and richer. I think the MMA fighters are wising up and there might be some changes made that let them keep more of the money their fights bring in.
