golovkin wasnt interested....but he was interested in other 154 guys and welterweights...strange

you guys are what some might call "fiercely loyal"...but id call you blindly dumb....you will never admit any ***** in golovkins armor or never admit defeat...its sad...you live through this image youve created...that image has been exposed long before canelo beat him last saturday
If Lara was interested he would have come up like Charlo did and countless other fighters before him. Lara wanted to have a foot in both camps. He didn't want to play with the guys in the higher weight class in order to fight Golovkin. In other words he was full of hot air. I have a lot more respect for Charlo than Lara because he made an effort to be relative as a Middleweight.

        1) Rosado, Brook, and Vanes..... did not " move up ", did they ?

        2) get your story straight, they did not refuse to fight Lara because of the nonsense you type..... they refused to fight Lara because he was "irrelevant, and not a draw".....

..... and they also used that exact same excuse ("irrelevant, and not a draw") to avoid fights with Mora and Ward..... the problem is, on each of those occasions they fought someone MUCH WORSE

saying that someone is "irrelevant, and not a draw"..... only works if you fight someone relevant who is a draw lol

stop talking bollocks, you have made an art-form out of making silly excuses

FACT: a few months after refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo, Golovkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up loooool

you cannot make that shlt up

          and here is the proof.....

lara wasnt avoided because he didnt play at 160..he was avoided because hes a tough fight and left handed and isnt made to KO for the HBO execs.....lolol

you know this too..you played yourself...but your foolish pride wont let you stand down

                • Is this like the 'Golovkin is finished' jubilation self congratulatory party thread then? Damn, you'd think some of these guys were in the ring getting their arms raised themselves last Saturday by some of the reactions.

I don't care much about GGG losing - damn good fight as far as I was concerned, but man, I'm fascinated to see what his cadre of full time lunatic haters are going to do next - man... some of you have dedicated years of your life to smearing this dude. Let's hope we can all get back to enjoying the sport now and praising fighters instead of trying to tear 'em down.

I've a feeling it's pathological with some of these dudes though and they're just gonna go find someone else to hate because actually getting enthused about fighters leaves you open to ridicule doesn't it?

Well you finally stumbled on to the truth for once. You're correct when you said Lara wasn't relevant and a draw. Vanes was taken on short notice and Brooke lobbied for the Golovkin fight and was available when the Eubank fight fell through. It was an easy fight to make and stayed in England where Golovkins team wanted to expand their fan base. Boxing is also a business or didn't you know that. That's why Cotto paid Golovkin to step aside. That's why Canelo avoided Golovkin untill he got older and showed some signs of slipping going so far as to give up his title to fight Liam Smith. Your excuses for these guys are laughable. Compounded by the fact that you ignore any dubious actions by Cotto and Canelo. Really your ignoring that Cotto actually said that the middleweight title will now be contested at catchweights only. He considered not paying Golovkin the money he owed him and he blatantly fouled Zab Judah numerous times in their fight.

Yup I lot folks were exposed and had their souls crushed by Canelo. Media, fans, moving the goal post out in damage control and spin mode to protect GGG because he lost and isn't what you thought he was.
