  • Why are American boxers so inactive?

Spence, Charlos, Gervonta Davis, Jarrett Hurd,
Gary Russell Jr etc etc etc

Surely these talented guys should be fighting three times year?

That's why this sport needs new breed of fighters.
    Plus replicas of Eddie Hearns.
    Not this ridiculous Showtime/PBC partnership,
where even when it's fighters say, "Fight is easy to make, we're on the same network and same managers," yet fights still doesn't happen.
Mikey vs Spence wanted to fight each other, for example.
What did Espinoza and Haymon did?
    Nothing.
    It's abysmal.

Show me who's got all these world class guys & are putting them in the ring 3 times a year please. I'd like to follow that promoter/network/entity.

The reality is this isn't happening. Hearn is the cat who's claiming this the most, but if you look at his name guys its not actually happening. Big fan of Hearn. I think he's the best promoter in the game right now, but just cuz he's telling you something don't mean you should believe it.

        Anthony Joshua, 2018 - 2 fights, 2017 - 2 fights

        Callum Smith, 2018 - 2 fights, 2017 - 1 fight

        Tony Bellew, 2018 - 2 fights, 2017 - 1 fight, 2016 - 2 fights

        Khalid Yafai, 2018 - 1 fight, 2017 - 2 fights

        Ryan Burnett, 2018 - 2 fights

        Luke Campbell, 2018 - 2 fights

        Kell Brook, 2018 - 1 fight, 2017 - 1 fight, 2016 - 2 fights, 2015 - 2 fights, 2014 - 2 fights, 2013 - 2 fights

        Dillian Whyte, 2018 - 3 fights - Respect to Whyte, 2017 - 2 fights

Rocky Fielding, 2018 - 3 fights Respect to Rocky although I think this is about Fielding getting a big fight pulled from Canelo's ass more than Hearn is keeping him more active, 2017 - 2 fights, 2016 - 2 fights

        Scott Quigg, 2018 - 2 fights, 2017 - 2 fights, 2016 - 2 fights, 2015 - 1 fight

        Martin Murray, 2018 - 1 fight, 2017 - 2 fights

        Anthony Crolla, 2018 - 2 fights, 2017 - 2 fights, 2016 - 2 fights, 2015 - 2 fights

Yes every world class pro boxer who's not fighting 3 times a year is a giant p#ssy cuz some dork on a boxing forum said so. Thats the most likely answer.

            B- troll post.

The names you mentioned are all so talented and good to watch too. It can only be a TV/Promotional issue. None of them have injuries to my knowledge and they will realise too late how short a career in boxing is.

US fighters? How about Fury, Brook, Khan, Haye, Saunders, etc, etc, etc who all went through years of inactivity.
Boxers in general aren't as active as we'd like. Respect to those who stay active.
