I think it did expedite his process and learning though. He looked sensational within a few fights of that.

It's natural a fighter who's so programmed to amateur boxing isn't going to be a grizzled pro in his first 2-3 fights. Pro experience is hugely important.

What "would happen" if Salido fought Lomachenko now doesn't matter, when they fought Salido beat him. It was his 2nd pro fight thats Lomachenko's problem he wanted a title fight because he had confidence in his extensive amateur background and it didn't work out for him and thats that.
