Believe it or not, when I first discovered him, it wasn't his older classics like Kind of Blue & others. Prehaps I started with Electric Miles era, Bitches Brew album more precisely, and I had to notice that many of his fans didn't enjoy it as well as his previous works. As I mentioned on hip hop forum, I used to make beats, so I was digging for samples and the guy I knew suggested me to listen to BB. I was mind-blown right away. Honestly I still don't know how was I able to enjoy it without bunch of drugs, because the album is a nightmare in audio format. The most creative piece of music I've ever heard.

Not Only Bitches Brew, Jack Johnson and In a Silent Way were also great. As well as On the Corner, another album from the Electric Miles era, but with heavier funk influence.
