Why isn't Crawford vs Floyd ever mentioned?

Even if Mayweather wasn't retired, when was the last time he took on a legitimate opponent?
It was Pacquiao in May of 2015, following a year of fighting Maidana and then years of fighting Guerrero and Ortiz.
Pacquiao in the mean time fought p4p entrant JMM, p4p entrant and top 3 welter Bradley 3 times (hammered him all 3 times, closing out his career).
Mayweather v Crawford just isn't within the realms of plausible reality.

You forget about Canelo? Cotto? Bradley 3 was pointless and we new what would happen in the second fight. And why would Manny get credit for a cherry pick gone wrong in Marquez 3 and getting ktfo in the 4th?

Fought Judah when he was on a losing streak too lol.
Corley fought him when he was on a losing streak.
Ndou lol
Diego Corrales was the only one he had fought in his prime?
He ducked a prime Shawn Porter, Shane Mosley and Kell Brook all recently lol!
