That "he's young, he a kid, the boy is growing" excuse is played out. At least in my book. A loss is a loss and a flaw or flaws remain unless corrected.
If the fighter makes corrections as he develops it validate the notion that he is no longer "green".

What if a loss isn't a result of a fighter's flaws? (i.e.
Lomachenko-Salido or Ward-Kovalev)
