Yeah, right. The one who dropped the belt without throwing a punch is smarter than the one who took. Canelita is taking us for a "ride".

GGG has at stakes 4 belts. What does canelita has at stake?
The only way I would agree for a bad deal if in the rematch clause (Provided GGG wins) GGG is given a deal whatever Canelo was given in the first fight. And if Canelo gives up his right for a rematch, Canelo compensates GGGG the difference of up to 50% split of the total money.
GGG is clearly the favorite in the fight.Last edited by LoveWisdomTruth; 02-09-2017, 07:35 PM.

C'mon Shadow702, this has little to do with GGG wanting a bigger cut and more about Canelo saving his credibility. You know as well as I do Canelo doesn't need GGG for a payday, he's the A side. The reason he wants GGG is because no other opponent will restore his star power than fighting and beating the man he vacated for. He doesn't need GGG to cash out so that's a moot point. To save face is the only reason he wants to fight him because the public demands he fight him in every interview. GGG can continue fighting so called "bums" as his haters call them but he's still the man at the top and the man to beat at 160. Canelo can fight every other fighter at 160 and he'lll never escape the wrath he's gotten since vacating.Originally posted by Shadoww702 View PostRemember when GGG said "“GGG has said that he’s not a businessman and he’s said publicly that Canelo is going to offer him $2 million". - I remember
Guess what??? Now GGG wants...At LEAST 40%!!!! "GGG wants more money to fight Canelo than Canelo and Cotto got to fight Mayweather" COMBINED!!!

And he is older... So based on your analysis, why would ggg not take the 15 mil and have the chance to become the man by nearing the man? AT thirty f.ucking five?!

That doesn't make any sense. Why would anyone want 40% of a PPV that will probably do less than one millions buys. After the cables and satellite cuts, wouldn't that be a lot less than 15 million.
