  • 'black panther' and racial division...

why is this being praised as such a milestone in society?

Is it not racist that the black community are getting behind this film so much just because it has black actors in it? If anything doesnt that show the racial divide that still exists, the fact that the movie is celebrated so much by a certain community cause the actors have the same colour skin as them. Theyve been wearing suits and ties to go the cinema for this lol.

I dont get it, as far as i was aware there were lots of prominent black actors around. Things might have changed but i remember reading will smith was the best paid of them all per film at one point. So why is this some huge leap for 'equality'? WOuldnt a mix of ethnicities in a film be considered 'equal' (something that already exists) or is it the fact that theres a film thats completely driven out other races the cause for celebration? And is it fair in itself to have a film that excludes other races? What would the reaction be like if there was a sequel called 'white leopard'?

And why are certain members of said community attacking people for leaving negative reviews and labelling them racists for doing so? Surely the opposite of racism is giving objective reviews regardless of ethnicity. I dont quite think people have understood the meaning of equality, it doesnt mean pandering to every want and need of a minority, it means treating them equally. And if the film sucks, the film sucks. Lets not make out its some modern classic.

Mainly because of no father in the household. That's what all of our issues are coming to. Whether it be a senseless murder of a 5 year old, or some dumb teenager shooting up a school.

You have pieces of **** like MotorCity HoeBruh as a perfect example of these kinds of people.

Like most things, it is the divisive media coverage that sets this movie apart from other Marvel movies and other movies that feature an all black cast. When you have NYT and other major news outlets calling this "a defining moment for black America", and how it "marks a major milestone", CNN..."Black Panther is a movement" is basically just more SJW rhetoric.

The New Yorker attempts to explain the backstories..."The second backstory reveal takes place in Oakland (Coogler’s actual home town), in 1992, where a Wakandan prince, N’Jobu (Sterling K. Brown), is stationed. Witnessing the burdens borne by black Americans, he decides to distribute his country’s vibranium and weaponry worldwide, in an effort to aid a revolution against white-dominated powers."

So while this should have been just a fun superhero movie for black audiences to enjoy, it carries a lot of social/racial overtones and only encourages more blame and resentment.

Here is a good review, which will likely get scorched by the SJW community and snowflakes.

I'm more weirded out by white people freaked out black dorks exist based on some reactions to this film that aren't THAT undifferent to white dorks reactions to Star Wars or LOTR (some dork just ate all the food eaten in the LOTR series on twitter yesterday btw lmfao....f#cking dorks) or Avengers or w/e. I been talking about black dorks for years. People think every black dude is out there rapping or playing basketball or beating up mfers. There are a TON of black dorks out there that are at home making cosplay bs or playing with action figures or getting beat the f#ck up by black non-dorks.

Thats all this is. Reverse this around & make it white people all amped up about some dope a$$ super country hiding their superiority from other countries for decades or centuries or w/e & its w/e overall. Make it a non-white thing & white people get weird.

And yea it is a big deal in a way being that its the first legit serious big money black superhero film. There have been jokey & smaller black superhero films & sidekicks & lesser players in bigger films, but never a black big budget superhero film. So yea that angle is meaningful to a lot of people.

Worldwide: $404 million, and apart Marvel Series. Huge racial problem with people saying it's the first movie with an all black cast and blacks need it.

Worldwide: $288,752,301 (June, 1988) - Adjusted for inflation = $606 Million. ZERO racial issues, one of the most popular movies of ALL TIME and impossible to change the channel when it's on.

It's just the pus*ified time we live in man. The skinnyjeanification of this country.

The racism is you suggesting that any positive review is because of skin color and not the merits of the movie. Who cares what people wear to a movie?

The reaction to the sequel would be bewilderment because there is no character called the white leopard. The Black Panther is an actual character from the series.

Many of the reviews you mentioned were made without seeing the movie. That is why they were called racist.

Why are white nationalists so triggered by this movie??

It's laughable that a god damn cartoon character is being lauded as some kind of milestone for black people and culture.

because the "people" that control the entire media industry is pushing the racialist aspect of the liberal agenda.

"they" (the controllers of the media industry aka social engineers of society) are riding the SJW "woke" movement and used it as a slick marketing campaign angle to fool low IQ two dimensional thinking people who in their comfortable suburban lifestyle wanted something to "rebel" about. aka the colin kaepernick game plan.

there's a reason why the "cause" the "movement" has been funded and co opted by people like george soros. they then use all the media platforms that they own and push the same racialist liberal narrative.

i see some folks saying they went to see it twice to support the black community but in actuality they are just fattening the pockets of people like him:

if black people really wanted to support black, they would buy and support black novelists/ sci fi writers.

instead, they support disney and the people who already run things....
