Why not even join consensus and say the fight could have gone either way? Many of us gave it to Golovkin so it wouldn't matter. Abel hasn't done anything to be considered a good trainer. Look at how bad he's done with Barrera, Gassiev and Cuadras. If somebody goes to the summit, it's not because of Abel.

I don't even remember what happened with Barrera & Cuadras with Abel, but can we really say he did bad with Gassiev?

Gassiev made it to the finals of maybe the toughest tournament field in boxing ever. And lost to a guy you can make an argument is the #1 P4P guy in the world right now. If you had some super computer that had all the minds of great trainers of that past inside it that came up with the most perfect strategy for that fight he mighta still lost it. Usyk is a bad mfer.

But yea like I said & agree with you on Abel SHOULDA been more neutral at very least with some "it was close" type sh^t.

When has Abel ever taken the high road???? Abel has taken over Roach as the most talkative trainer in sports. If Abel felt GGG won he would've said so. In a round about way he's saying GGG lost but won't just come out and say it.

I stand by that statement. We know Canelo will fight the best. Can't say the same about GGG. The best fighting the best is good for the sport. The sport is in good hands with Canelo at the helm.

Gassiev was hurt and didn't tell anybody because he didn't want any excuses made. He just had surgery a couple weeks ago and he still said that's not the reason for his loss. That's a real champion

Yup. Sanchez has no problem making his point clear what he thinks if he thought GGG flat out won or was robbed he would be screaming from the mountain. The fact he isn't is very telling. along with how fast he jumped on Canelo's nuts after the fight. Came to the club with GGG on his arm but saw canelo across the room and is leaving with the red head ditched the kazak LOL

I can imagine Sanchez being frustrated with Golovkin not going to the body. Awhile back Chavez Sn said in an interview to Sanchez"s face if Golovkin loses the rematch Sanchez should get an award for the worst trainer of the year. Ouch..
