Gary Lineker has a theory that managers aren't that important. I sort of subscribe to that. Mourinho's presence alone was killing us at the end. Chelsea could have replaced him with door knob.

And for all intents and purposes Hiddink leaves training to Steve Holland and Eddie Newton and just watches and throws his two cents in now and again. Some of these managers in real terms probably don't have as big an impact on players and a football club as we think.

What does everyone think of the Busquets v Zidane debate?

Different players really.. objectively speaking Busquets is at the point now where I'd probably class him as the greatest holding mf ever.

Zidane had more of an influence higher up obviously. But I'd imagine Busquets would have miles more touches in a game in midfield areas if you looked at stats.

Is there really such a debate? Zidane was a true number 10 like Platini, Busquets is just a defensive midfield who can pass forward.

And in terms of quality, Zidane was another caliber of player although Busquets is the best at his position.
