The only time we've seen him truly struggle was in those fights in the welterweight range. I get people don't like him, but he'd beat almost all of the champions in the 135 and 140 range. Obviously, Garcia and Crawford would be the issues here. (Loma too when he comes up).

As long as he stays at 140 (or below) he'll be fine and competitive in any fight. There aren't many people who can beat him at this weight or lower. The trick for him is staying disciplined with his body and mind to extend his career. The second he goes above 140 again, he'll get beat down.

There are weight classes for a reason.
^^^I agree^^^ Also hes a thick built guy but hes only like 5'4" or 5'5" which doesnt equate well above 140. Hes not a bad boxer and he brings publicity to boxing, he just suffered the fate a lot of guys do when they move up. I would like to see TC vs Broner this year if Broner can get an ABC title but lets see if he gets passed Granados.

I think he's already half-past flamed out personally. It would be great to see him look incredible and back in the picture. I'm just not getting my hopes up.

His biggest flaw was believing his own hype too much, and moving up to 147 way too soon.

A loss is just a loss, he's still a dangerous offensive fighter for anybody, but he loses focus and gets discouraged a bit too easily it seems like.
        totally agree.

all the talent in the world, but it seems like he has some kind of mental block, preventing him from realizing his full potential.

Poor little man...when living vicariously through someone you might pick a little better? Adrien slayer of bums, traversing the weight classes in search of low hanging fruit like Paulie powder fist and Euro belt holders like Reese... Adrien, Loser at the Lanes... Millioniare who couldn't pay a bar tab. Real nice piece of work!

Broner spent more time and energy avoiding the strong fighters in his division because even then he knew he would lose...and so many of his wins were sh11ty decisions by the judges against fighters who were not so great... Like the Malinaggi victory...questionable and the wild swinging lightweight, Ponce de leone... who most people thought he lost to.

When has Bronner in his quest to be champion, beat a great fighter, convincingly to retain, or take a title? Hes at most beat some good fighters, some up and becomers

You seem to take Bronner's catastrophe's personally... a pity because there are probably a few more of those L's for the big headed, no necked dwarf...So as the Japanese say Gambetti Kudasi... You will need it!

Tell me were you crying when Adrian was escorted out from the Madanna fight? cause he was!! and Tell me... did you feel a hole in your pocket when things at the bowling alley went south?

there's always that excuse for broner "he isn't dedicated if he was he would be a star, one of the best, he has the talent" and the truth is that broner is not more than what we've seen already. if he doesn't have a size advantage he can't hang up with top opposition.

yeah, i wish i was on the site at the time cause people will think im just saying it now, but i always thought it was pretty clear that broner wasnt all that. People should have realised that when they saw the ponce de leon fight. Broners footwork leaves a lot to be desired, and his counter punching ability when faced with combinations isnt the level it needs to be to be a true elite fighter.. Saying that, i didnt think he'd lose to maidana in the manner that he did although i picked porter to beat him.

I actually think Broner is pretty talented. He to me actually uses a style that does not suit him. He is trying to fight off his back foot like Floyd. Yet he is more of an offensive fighter than defensive fighter. He should actually switch trainers. I think Freddie Roach would be a good trainer for him. He has the combination punching and he does carry power at 140 to be dangerous to just about anyone at 140 including Crawford. Yeah i know Crawford is more skilled but he was hurt by Gamboa who doesn't punch as hard as Broner.

Interesting perspective. If you really feel this way, shouldn't you give him more credit for winning the titles he has?

Waste of potential.... Best win is a close decision over way past his prime pillow-fisted Paulie M. "About Billions" is about to fight an average fighter with Four losses on a college campus...pitiful for a multiple division champ.
