Walther Ppq is not on the California handgun roster

You'd have to buy it as a private party transfer

    If you can find one

Only handguns available in California are handguns on the roster

      Revolvers you can get anything

But semi auto pistol they have to have been approved and on the roster

And they haven't added a new one in years

Walther ppq, ppq m2, pps, ppx, etc.

All the new walthers are not available in California except thru private party transfer used (only cops and dealers can get non roster stuff)

My brother in law got his walther ppq m2 thru a loophole

      Single shot exemption

He bought it as a single shot then converted it legally to a semi auto

But they closed that loophole already

      • Anyone else stock up on hi cap mags the week they were legal to be shipped to california?

I bought a bunch of mags for my sig, hk and glocks pistols but I bought mostly rifle mags

        Mostly for my ARs

But some for my aks and sks

A bunch of magpuls, some okay surefeeds, hexmag, national, asc

Mostly 30 rounders but some 20 and 40s too

Can a gun store owner transfer it privately as well?

Buddy of mine said his friend carries it at the shop and I can get it legally.

I'm sure he'd know better than either of us

If he says he can sell you one then he probably can

I wanna get either an AR or an AK, but even though I've never owned one, I don't wanna buy some cheap rifle that I might regret later, but I cannot build one here due to BS laws.

                What can ya recommend
If u wanna modify it and fix it up and stuff and put all these accessories and stuff...... get an ar

If you want something low maintenance and no frills...... go ak

So much more things you can do to an ar but ak is so simple and easy

                  • Did small research, leaning towards an Arsenal
