i never see verdejo being a great fighter,, i never did,, he reminds me of juanma, put him in there with a guy who takes his punch and fights back and he will lose, his chin is weak and i think he doesnt have that toughness in him... he can change trainers and i really dont think it will make a difference, not with him

Verdejo hype was in full effect when he was fighting low tier fighters. When he started to semi step it up he didn't look like he could go to the next level.
He likes to pay too much and the lay off did not help. The hype is over.
