    Seems people have been doing some digging, and the numbers arent quite adding up.

    Phillip's claims to have done 2 tours in Vietnam as a Marine infantryman.

    Phillip's was born in 1955. He claims to have joined the Marines at age 17. That would be 1972.

    The problem is that the last Marine combat units left Vietnam on June 25, 1971.

    Phillips also claimed has was a "recon ranger".

    The Marines use the term Force Recon, while the Army uses the term Ranger.

          I think you have to go through a FOIA request, and even then I'm not sure you can get them.

          Phillip's could always release his DD-214 and we would then know the truth.

            As of Monday, Phillips "could not be reached" to comment on the allegations.

            It's not looking good for the professional protester.....
