A very talented boxer who had the misfortune of coming along during one of the weakest eras of the division, compounded by the fact that he was seen, more or less, as an inferior fighter to his brother, who fought during his reign.

    Where does he rank?

I cannot begin to consider ranking him alongside those who triumphed under much harsher circumstances, given his lack of competition and successful gut checks.

Maybe someday I'll find him a spot; but at the moment, I'll have to mull it over seriously.

Wladmir was inferior to his brother whose legacy was that he lost to Lennox Lewis. Vitali's accomplishments will forever be overshadowed by this fact. Wladmir is even lower than this.

If Wladmir could get KO'd hard by a South African golfer moonlighting as a boxer, what would Liston, Foreman, Shavers, and Tyson do to his Amir Khan chin? All it takes is one and that "one" could only be Ken Norton level to get the job done.

Muhammad Ali only held it for 3 years and most of his fights were constant rematches against Americans.
Oh really? So many heavyweight in America have been calling Wlad's name for years! Ward is at 168 lbs, between kovalev and golivkin and he's stated several times he's willing to fight them at 168.

Ali fought the best, who were the fighters around the world that he should have fought? if he was really ducking any fighter they should have got themselves into a mandatory position to make it so that ali can't so no, did they do that?

Also wilder fought and beat stiverne, the guy that Vitali didn't want to fight. If he came out of retirement im sure wilder wouldn't mind putting him back there for good.

If you try. I mean if you really try hard.

Maybe Wlad's schlong can go even deeper up inside you.

LOL Andre Ward. When was the last time that guy fought? When was the last time that guy left Oakland? Nobody cares about that coward.

Yeah I'm sure that Vitali was ducking STIVERNE ROFL. Stiverne is a nobody, he's Chisora lite. Even a modern day Chisora would have won that belt against that overweight Mexican.

So very true. I don't see Wlad having any problem with Norton or Spinks and you can't blame age either.
