still can't believe kirkland got sparked by some random japanese tourist they picked up from the streets in vegas.

Ishida is a better fighter than Kirkland and Kirkland was 100% manufactured off of inferior materials.

Ishida is coming off a year long layoff, has no defense, comes forward, and has no power. If I don't see a knockout I'm gonna be pissed. Already mad at Pirog for not taking advantage.

Had enough power to absolutely destroy kirkland.

Is Ishida even ranked in the top 10 by the WBA? I don't see how he could be, coming off of two straight losses.

it was a big upset but wasn't even for a title

He won't have a lot of time finding a quality opponent for this summer if he fights in march. People are already ducking him.

I'm not sure how not fighting in March helps him find an opponent for June/July? His promoters should be on it regardless.

Chances are he will have fought three opponents by the 6-month mark in 2013 with another 6 months to go.

Some of these "fighters" only fight once a year.

The only reservation I have is that the opponents he is fighting aren't MWs.

I'm not sure what the deal with Pirog is and Rubio might not wanna risk his shot at Quillin by fighting Golovkin and losing. But you're right about the rest. Instead he fights another JMW. Golovkin is slowly losing me as a fan.
