I guess it isn't Wilder's fault he defends his title against such average fighters. The WBC keeps insisting he fights these mediocre fighters. He is the WBC champ and must do as they wish if he wants to keep his WBC world title.

Good point and lets not forget the guy tried to fight two top 5 fighters(one Ortiz he did not have to).And both fricken cheaters failed ped tests.Hell he was on way to Russia even, and I know Povetkin people won purse bid but it would not have been 1st time guy gave up title instead of fightin what was considered tough manditory .

And at least Breazeale is a legit top 10.Although a bottom top 10.He got a couple decent wins.Esp last that Izo could fight.He just did not have stamina to fight 10 hard rounds.Breazeale at least has showed some balls.If its Molina that's real bad he no better then top 20ish.

Stiverne vs Breazeale was set to be a final eliminator. When Ortiz fails his test and Stiverne steps in, Breazeale has rights. Which is why he was allowed to fight the highest available contender to keep his eliminator.

Molina was the one willing to step up on short notice. But if he wins, it causes a major problem as Wilder vs Breazeale is marketable, Wilder vs Molina II is not.
