If that's true then Fury just ducked the fight by signing exclusively to ESPN.
How can they have rights to a fight that isn't signed?

Wilder is a 2 mil fighter. Which is why the UK fighters are getting big US deals and he isn't.
roberto...do u want to parade around here and talk stupid and act like a fool...or do you want to debate like adults and use facts and common sense?

i dont smoke crack...i dont watch youtube boxing shows...and im not an african american..im a white male from the new england region of the united states..im not poor...im not wealthy...but im not poor either

and guess who else isnt poor? wilder....he makes good money....and he will continue to....and feeling like you were robbed is never going to be a good excuse to duck a rematch....and furys 80 million is contingent on fights with wilder and AJ...without aj and wilder that 80 mil is NEVER met....its common sense

stop running around here acting like you beat wilder and his fans cause espn made a press release...lol...its pathetic and sad.....it must be nice to hide behind your computer because nobody can see you...and act like a dumb fool with no reprecussions....you wouldnt talk like this if you were in a bar with us discussing the sport of boxing...you wouldnt be able to look any of us in the eye talking all of the illogical nonsense you do here

Wilder can still fight Fury. It just has to be on ESPN. Wilder isn't tied to showtime so shouldn't be a problem.

I'm assuming this comes from agreements/options from the first fight.

Once the smoke clears we'll find out more.

You can probably forget about Fury vs Joshua too, by the way. Unless Hearn is going to let AJ fight off DAZN.

The contract didn't cover a draw, so there is no rematch clause in effect. Which is why they were negotiating.

He didn't have any ground to stand on.

If it was about standing his ground then why did he say he accepted $15million and to send him a contract?

He was bluffing, and when Hearn called his bluff he backed down and ducked the fight because he and his team knew he would get KTFO by AJ. He couldn't even handle a 50% ready Tyson Fury, ffs!

what you dont realize is that that 80 mil figure is just a number being tossed out in a press release and has fights with wilder and AJ figured into it

its the equivalent of an nfl player signing a big deal that gets put out there where he makes "100 million"...but actually only about 30 of that is guaranteed...and he can be cut after 3 years and never see a dime over 30.....its no different...the 80 mil is not guaranteed and hes not getting it without fighting wilder or AJ

wilder, like i said, is worth more than any HW out there besides joshua...if fury doesnt fight him this year he will still make 5-7 fighting whoever...whyte...brezeale...kownacki...whoever... .

and when thats over all roads will lead back to wilder...if fury and aj fight each other? ok...whoever wins has to answer the wilder question....so wilder is not in any weak position...all he has to do is keep winning like everyone else...and the road leads back to him

thats what you fail to understand
Wilder wasn't making $5million against anybody before he fought Fury, and his stock fell as a result of the fight. All the independant rating boards demoted him to 3rd place in their rankings, below AJ and Fury.

He isn't making more than $2million against anybody except Fury or AJ. It's time for him to accept that, cash out for whatever either will give him, and stop holding the WBC title hostage.

he was never making just 2 million anyway.........you do know that haymon fighters getting side money is common knowledge right?

his stock fell? because rating boards demoted him in rankings? since when does earning/drawing power depend on a ranking?

were people not asking for/clamoring for a rematch? that was one of the fights of the year that had a near death experience and 2 knockdowns...it helped reinvigorate the HW division......so what about that fight damaged wilders earning potential? because he got outboxed most of the fight? he gets outboxed all the time for many rounds in most of his fights

you arent making sense when you compare wilders earning potential to some ranking in the HW division on some website.....they dont correlate

you think people would now not be interested if wilder and aj fought? because someone dropped wilder to 3rd in their ranking? lol...thats absurd....like really absurd...and that is bascically what you are saying

wilder will make 5-7 mil from here on out for whoever he fights as long as he keeps winning...and u know why? because no matter what AJ and fury do in the next year(if its without wilder) all the roads will lead back to wilder(as long as he keeps winning...its calld "common sense"....try getting some

fury keeps fighting other guys? guess what? theyre going to ask him about that wilder rematch and the public will demand it......fury and AJ fight? ok cool....the winner will have to answer the "wilder question"...."when you gonna fight wilder and unify"? the public will demand it

this deal fury is getting doesnt stand on its own with wilder and AJ...that figure given out by espn and top rank has wilder/AJ fights built into it...hes not getting 80 mil to fight pulev jennings and joey dawejko
