Fury, too big and too strong, plus the fact that he's as skilled if not more skilled than liston. Stops him inside 10.

      Exactly this.

What can Liston do to stop Fury if Fury is unloading shots with ill intentions?

Considering there's not a man born from his mother who could beat Tyson Fury...

            1. That was a 60% at best version of fury

            2. no 6'9" skilled boxer is losing to a podgy little dough boy like liston

              Nah

Liston would be plodding forward with his slow ass feet, missing by miles because he's punching at a guy with over HALF A FOOT more reach than ali, and would be constantly out of range getting hit with jabs and right hands until he broke down and quit

Wilder ONLY lived with fury because at 6'7" with long arms, he was at least able to live with furys reach

and also, that was a 60% fury at best who was STILL FAT and had beer gut and love handles

Yeah. I said it. Gonna need more than some black and white footage to have me believe he beats a modern day giant.

He doesnt win a single round.

Fury was dropped by cunningham and 215lbs wilder.

Wilder basically was a cruiserweight that didnt dehydrate when he fought Fury. You got jr. welters that dehydrate 20lbs from 140 to 160. Wilder was like 15lbs or so above 200 on fight night.

You think that Liston couldnt stop Fury?

wilder's dumb ass also didnt go to the body. And fury has been fat with a gut for the majority of his career, well before his 2 year hiatus.

                    Wait...what? Seriously?

Liston was the most feared man on the planet for about 5 years. He had great power and could crush you to the body or the head. He was Mike Tyson before there was a Mike Tyson. In his prime ('58-'63) he won 18 out of 21 by KO with 13 inside of 3 rounds.

There's a reason why Tyson said the guy he'd most like to have fought in history was Liston and it's not because he thought he could beat him. The real question here is does Fury have enough power for Liston to respect him, not vice versa.

As far as Fury being too big, that's also not really the case. Liston was only 6'1" but had an unusually long reach - 84" - and knew how to use it. That's only an inch short of Fury's and 3 more than Wlad Klitschko. In modern times there's little doubt that Liston would be more like 230-235 pounds and would hit just as hard or even harder. And unlike most guys with arms like that, Liston could also go to the body.

This isn't even close. Liston wins by KO somewhere around round 8.
