Gregor is naturally much smaller than díaz...

Ask Andre Ward about Diaz' boxing skills.
Ask any top tier fighter about Diaz' chin.
Ask any top tier martial artist about Diaz' jujitsu skills.
Ask any top tier trainer about Diaz' endurance.

For those on here who think Diaz is the Gatti of MMA, you're showing your ignorance. Diaz has losses after 10 years of fighting top tier guys. He was never protected, and always brought out the best of a fighter. He's only been KO'd once, and it was a perfect head kick (can you imagine how many humans' lights that would put out?)
Anyway, Diaz losses were ALL highly competitive, many could've gone either way, and he was NEVER granted a rematch.
Point is, Conor beat a tough mother****er, and undoubtedly a top tier mixed martial artist.
I love watching competitive matches in both sports, and no sure why this is an either/or thing.
Conor is speaking the truth. If Canelo were to go to 160, and fight GGG and get KOd after an otherwise dominant performance where he ran out of energy (entirely possible btw), he'd gain a lot of respect, and there'd inevitably be a rematch. If Canelo won the trilogy by decision in another war, then boxing would have a massive trilogy card to play for the world that could be massive.
But no. Boxers (pac, Floyd, Canelo, etc...) would rather protect their loss column, by fighting at catch weights.
If Canelo can make 154, then so be it. GGG and his fans can ***** all they want. But he can't make that weight anymore, so move up. It's really that simple.

Conor dominated the 10-year reigning champion of one dividion, moved up to challenge the reigning champion of the next division up, who pulls out last-minute with a broken foot, so he takes on a tenured, top-tier veteran.
He lost. They ran it back with both having full camps, and he edged out a decision in a war.
So yeah, he can **** all over Canelo in the fight game 'til he moves up a division.

I actually watched the last few McGregor fights and think he is great for the sport has me watching MMA. And he has a strong point for Canelo fighting Khan. I was glad he knocked Khan out but that was wack. But Conor also brought up lil g in this interview bringing up Brook as well.

Canelo clearly doesn't want to fight lil g anybody can see that. But Canelo did fight- Mayweather, Cotto, Lara, Trout (When he was undefeated) so at 26 that is a hell of a resume.

These MMA fighters stay talking about Boxing....but no Boxers generally start talking about them its only when these cage fighters start running their mouths that Boxers fall for it and take the bait...I mean if MMA is 'Killing' Boxing it should be the other way around.
