Norway is a dump, I'd much rather move to America than move to Norway.

Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It's a must see place for anyone who loves nature, fresh seafood, and being outdoors. I lived there a short while, and it is expensive, but the wages are higher, so that makes up for it. Although, travelling there as a tourist is very expensive though

America all day every day over every single country on this planet.

Norway has a 50% income tax, 25% sales tax, $9 per gallon gas, 60K is the average cost of a car, and they pay a yearly $500 tax to own a TV.

With all that tax money saved, your typical American can afford solid health insurance, and buy everything else at a much more cheap rate.

Europeans are much more poor than your typical American, people who have a hard on for Bernie Sanders need to realize this.

Have you ever depended on a universal health care system or only read about them on TV? Very few people relocate to be served by a universal health care system compared to the number who emigrate with rare conditions to take advantage of the innovation-driven US system. It's easy to peddle the objectively factually inferior product to people who think it's "free", though, and US voters are increasingly from (financially/economically) uneducated backgrounds/vulnerable to socialist carrot-on-a-stick candidates.

You support strict gun control? Why? How strong is your grasp of history and the general effect the firearm has had on individual freedom in the US and beyond? How instrumental the proliferation of firearms was to transitioning from warrior castes to democratic government? Do you come from a backward subculture yourself with extremely high violence rates and believe the entire nation should suffer for your behaviors? That's usually the case, I find. What's the specific reason?

To answer the question, all of Western/Northern/Southern Europe is being flooded with migrants form ****hole countries at such a rapid pace that Europeans are in turn increasingly forced to choose between flight from urban regions or emigration.

Much of Scandinavia's urban & suburban land will be a bankrupt african cesspool within 2 generations at current projections.

Scandinavia's addiction to socialism (which epitomizes the general Scandinavian climate inclu. Norway) led to drops in productivity & fertility catastrophic enough that they willingly committed national/ethnic suicide in hopes of breaking its stranglehold, via Reinfeldt's neoliberalism:

                https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fredrik_Reinfeldt
                https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Det_sovande_folket

Norway isn't as bad as Sweden because they're not as far left & not EU members, but all of Scandinavia is running on the fumes of past generations & set for collapse. They cannot pay for their socialist system and gambled on disrupting the trends via migrants who only further contributed to the spiral. You would be very ill-informed to invest in Scandinavia over the US given their current situations.

The "evil" guys in the US who "take your healthcare and free birth control and free food away" have done a heroic job of controlling/containing our own mild version of the Scandinavian death-spiral.

Just to add, Norwegians have more disposable income per capita than the US, a higher life expectancy, and is more productive per capita than the US (1st overall in 2016, 2nd overall in 2017)

lulz ppl also immigrate to Thailand. Doesn't make it a better country. If Norweigns preferred USA then that country would be empty right now. Northern european countries can get visas and green cards easily in the US.

They ask me to buy tech stuff for them in the states and send it to them because it costs half as much here. They have limited rights. Constantly freezing their asses off. But hey, they can pat themselves on the back at how "forward thinking" they are. lol
So the fact that things are cheaper in the US means that US is better LOL. How ironic.

Americans buy stuff online from chinese websites because they are dirt cheap. Does that mean the quality of life is better in China?

Yeah? Do they have large Scandinavian communities in Thailand? You seem kind of dumb. Are you Canadian by chance?
