I have. He was #4 on Ring Magazine's best fighters ever list and the #2 HW behind Ali. Plenty of people recognize Louis as one of the greatest ever.

Many think Roberto Duran was the best p4p fighter of all time and I would agree. Hearns crushed him in two. It happens.

I really think it's time to dismiss all this talk about a great fighter wouldn't or a great fighter would never....it's BS. Great fighters are just as human as any other fighter and they do screw up. When they excel, I think they excel more than most others but they still screw up. Too many examples against such claims as a great would never blah, blah, blah.

Besides I'd rather get KO'd like Duran did quick and early rather than take a beating against Holmes, taking punishment round after round like Ali did. I think that would cause way more damage.
