Am i the only one who thought tokyo drift was good?

Tokyo Drift is the best one next to the original. It set the standard in drifting on film, something rarely seen in mainstream car movies. The rest of the films were typical car movies: straight ahead driving, car chasing, and crashes. You can compare them to the driving found in other movies like Gone in 60 Seconds. But the drifting in the 3rd was different, unique, and amazing to watch on screen.

Tokyo Drift, the 3rd movie, is supposed to be the last one in the series. A character found in 4, 5 and maybe 6, 7 died in Tokyo Drift.

I liked Tokyo Drift. The only one in the series that I didn't really care for was #2.

But it's true that these latest ones are going too over the top.

Anyone see this yet? Just came back from a sold out midnight show and it's the best summer movie yet. It knows it's dumb and the action scenes are effing INSANE. BTW, don't forget to watch the CRAZY AWESOME post-credits scene. The audience in my theater audibly gasped at the post-credits scene.
