He was definitely in his physical prime but like you said, not using his skills to the best of his advantage. Which makes me question if he was really in his overall peak. Someone's prime IMO (many people go by different standards) is when everything is clicking at the same time, like Wladimir when he got Manny Steward and he went on his long reign, Ray Leonard up until his first retirement or Floyd pre 147 (when he was knocking out champions and utilizing movement).

Holyfield wins the second fight by a close but clear UD
Holyfield wins the third with a razor thin but clear UD after a hard fought war.
I see it that way, but Tyson winning the second fight, either by UD or late TKO.

          - -Bluntly, before meds Tyson as near invincible as it gets.

That's why Field cut his teeth in cruiser.

After meds is a crapshoot with Tyson.

Bluntly, Tyson was on Zoloft. A medication MILLIONS of people have taken. Bluntly, he was never mentally ill as you have claimed. Bluntly, you responded to the same post about 8 minutes before responding the exact same way again. Dunce.

Depends if you factor in drug use. Prime Tyson, Holy was a cruiserweight. By the time he got the HW strap Tyson was already sliding downhill.

Without steroids Evander gets murdered tho. The drugs made him a HW, not a chance he survives in that division without them. By the time they fought in 96 you could have put the Terminator in the ring and that wasn't stopping Holyfied.

Tyson without all the steroids and HGH he was on since he started fighting, wouldn't have been a HW either. So he's close to the same weight as Evander in any event.

Or, since Tyson fans are so insecure like their idol, I can go ahead and allow you to use Tyson on gear against a CW Holyfield. And guess what, Holyfield STILL beats him.

Tyson was so incredibly physically weak pound for pound in the grappling department that it wouldn't matter. The only difference is his punches would cause more impact like that sparring session they had in their teenage years.

Evander would keep getting up while Tyson is fading, Tyson still quits mentally like he always did when someone stood up to him. Evander is not Desiree Washington, Tyson cannot enforce his will upon him like he did in that hotel room.
