you, dlt and sometimes crillz are the only 3 posters i take time to read your whole post no manner how long. Because I know you guys put an effort in to back up your argument, and not just make general and blank statements.

I wish all of boxingscene was this way, and maybe then we could have civil discussions that could lead to census and answers.

See this is where i am different from Benny. I believe Floyd can make 140 and imo he should go back to 140. So he can fight people his own size and be in more exciting fights becuz he wont have to worry about a trading shots with naturally bigger man like he does at welterweight.

and therefore he style would be more exciting and he would go for the Ko..
Instead when he is fighting in the WW division he is just trying win and not get Ko'ed.

So I hope he fights Pacquiao at 140. So he can stay at 140 !

and if Mosely or cotto want to fight Floyd, he can come down to 140 and fight him.

You can not say that floyd wasnt a exciting fighter from 140 on down.

because at 147 floyd is just fighting to survive instead of fighting to kill.

I don't believe that Floyd is "surviving" at 147. He has wins against Zab Judah, Ricky Hatton, and a fight at 154 against Oscar (who IMO he wasn't trying to survive against).

Plus, there is nobody at 140 for Floyd to really fight that's going to generate any buzz or money. He's been fighting at 147 since 2005. Why all of a sudden is he going to go back to 140? It makes no sense and you better believe he'll get ****ted on by all the Boxing writers being there's a couple fights at 147 that would generate a much bigger buzz than anyone at 140.

Floyd is a legit WW. Him going to 140 doesn't automatically guarantee he KO's everyone.

i never see that changing no matter what...simply because their will always be somebody for floyd to fight, and if he doesnt fight the fighters the public deems worthy at the time... then they will say he is ducking such and such and he needs to do more.

IMO floyd should either come back and do something he hasnt done.
either go become the lineal and undisputed champion at 140 or go try and beat all odds and try to beat pavlik , sturm, or one of the champions at middleweight. because everything else is just pointless.

My goals for him would be to try and complete 1 or 2 of these goals
1. fight an undisputed champion of a division
2. Fight the pound 4 pound #1 fighter in the sport
3. Try and go for history and win a lineal title at 140
4. try to go for history and win a title at 160

because everything else he has already done

I get hate because people alway judge a book by it's cover instead of reading the context inside. 90% of the hate I get is from reputation. So i really dont trip on it. but like i said before I like posters who put an effort in to backing up their argument, and not just make general and blank statements.

Manny Pacquiao is the biggest threat to Mayweather’s legacy as the best fighter of this generation

The Pretty Boy would love nothing else but to prove that he is still the best fighter of the last 10-20 years by defeating his closest rival for that honor.

So this fight from a size standpoint makes logical sense.

Floyd @ WW comes into his fights weighing around 147lbs or 148lbs in his last 4 fights. Everybody else in the division come in weighing 158 and up.
Floyd was the Smallest WW in the division

Manny comes into his Fights Weighing 147, 145

Manny Has just Proven he can Handle fighting in at 147, when he just beat the living **** out of a fighter who was 5'11 with a 72 inch reach.

Mayweather v Pacquiao at a catch weight would determine who's the best of this era truly in 1 fight on 1 night.
