    How would you know? How would you have any idea how things work? Low ball offers are made all the time to kill fights. You're literally making things up without having any way of knowing if they're true. Sending a low ball offer is the most common way to kill a fight while saving face.

      Yeah, they treated AJ's mandatory deadline as just something to sneeze at. Bottom line is Wilder and team screwed up. Finkel himself admitted not acting in a timely manner.

      The only offer reportedly accepted was that $15 million, although Hearn claims Wilder’s inability to finish the deal in a timely manner prompted the WBA to order Joshua to defend his WBA belt against Povetkin. He accepted. Shelly Finkel, Wilder’s advisor, disputes Hearn’s scenario. He said he would’ve met the deadline had he been given one.
