  • Ruiz vs. Wilder and Fury II vs Wilder II are bigger fights than AJ vs. Wilder

Ruiz & Fury tick the right boxes.

Ruiz: Mexican fanbase against an African American fighter

Fury: Great white hope (who could actually win) against African American fighter

Those are the main demographics you want to shoot for in America.

aj is lucky he lost on dazn because nobody in the usa saw it. Nobody i know has dazn. He still can bounce back, now if his debut was on espn or fox he would never be taken serious in the states because everyone would laugh at him losing to a fat man by tko.

Right now the biggest fight is wilder vs fury 2. I can see it doing at least 2 million ppv buys, but it has to be on espn ppv because we all know how bob arums ego works the old man never backs down, so haymon will give that to arum.

Any fight involving AJ is bigger than any fight involving Wilder.

      Numbers don't lie.

Do you live in America and understand the demographics here?

The two biggest fights in the division this year will end up being AJ vs. Ruiz I and Ruiz vs. AJ II.

              And that's by far.

That's a very weird way to describe Fury. Care to explain it?

Admittedly I don't live in America but I'm not convinced.

Ruiz clearly has an opportunity to become massive, no doubt.

                  The Great White Hope? Hmmm.
Let's consider Tommy Morrison. Movie star looks, big left hook, John Wayne in his bloodline. Zero f's given.
Or the Klitschko's; intelligent, articulate and nigh on unbeatable. HBO threw them off TV. Between then and now, much of that demographic has been lost to mma.

                  Wilder? Sheeit, you already know.

The fact is the money at heavyweight is Joshua. The biggest endorsements, the biggest crowds at the biggest venues for the biggest cheques.
No PPV's? When they're paying him what they are it doesn't really matter.
Finkel, Arum, Haymon, Warren, they all know the score.

Why do you think Joey Spencer's 6 rd fight was the co-main last night? When was the last time you've seen a card where the co-main was a prospect going 6 rds in his 7th fight?

It wasn't a walkout bout that had to be moved up. It was billed as the co-main
