    Dereck Chisora > Luis Ortiz.

Since according to the OP's own logic. Dereck Chisora beat Malik Scott far more impressively and convincingly than Luis Ortiz did via a 10th round stoppage whilst Ortiz plodded his way to an unimpressive decision win.

And Chisora just knocked out Takam. Who is pretty much at least as good, if not better than anybody on Luis Ortiz's resume.

    Ergo, Chisora > Ortiz.

Ortiz the more skilled but Wilder has his number, Ortiz stops AJ as does Wilder.

Povetkin imo is a level below all the above probably stop him.

Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Jennings all about even and a level below Povetkin.
Takam a level below those and really declining.
you forgot about the Gypsy King! you big stiff idiot!

        Fan cards:
        58-56 Ortiz
        58-56 Ortiz
        57-57

When Wlad fought Thompson he was 31-1
When Ortiz fought Thompson his last 6 fights were 2-4 and his only victories coming against Solis.

I was waiting for someone to mention Chisora-Scott.

Why do you guys make statements like these when there is such a thing as videotape?

Yeah, Chisora KOed Takam...who had a very controversial fight with AJ and who took Parker the distance.

But the Chisora-Scott fight was a farce.

First off, Malike Scott was winning the fight.
Second, this is how controversially that fight ended.

The ref jobbed Scott, who was not hurt, nodded so to his corner early in the count and timed his rise at 9 only to be counted out at 9.

BTW, this is still another reason why some fighters don't like to travel to the UK.

The same can be said of many of Ortiz's victories too. His stoppage over Bryant Jennings was just as 'farce'. And the idea that Ortiz's win over Thompson was more impressive than Wladimir Klitschko's, when Wlad had already stopped a younger and a better version of Thompson twice is just as farcical

Otherwise, Ortiz had done nothing to suggest he is the clear number 3 heavyweight or even better than Dereck Chisora.

You need to stop it, dude.

That, or actually watch the fights you talk about.

No, I don't need to. If you're going to be moaning about Chisora's stoppage win over Scott being 'farcical', then the same can be said of Ortiz's questionable stoppage win over Jennings too. Let's not forget, Jennings was standing up on his feet and was also complaining to the referee when the referee controversially stopped the fight. It works both ways!

Not sure what the point is in posting the Thompson fight when he had already been brutally stopped not just once, but twice by Wladimir Klitschko. So Ortiz gets very little credit for stopping an already KO'ed Tony Thompson.

Ortiz dominated Jennings, he rocked him twice (no way Jennings won that many rounds) before knocking him down, then rocked him one more time before the fight was stopped in 6.

Thompson had never been dominated like that aside of Klitschko, didn't touch the canvas once against Pulev or Takam, the fight ended in 6, very easy work.

Let's be real, you aren't really a threat at HW unless you've got knock out power. The chances of a pure boxer beating these guys is slim to none.

There was nothing controversial about Jennings-Ortiz lol, Jennings was already badly hurt twice in the opening rounds, got dropped hard, rocked again before the ref jumped in and saved his life.

Scott was leading on all 3 scorecards and beat the 10 count before the ref stopped it early. You google Ortiz-Jennings and results like "Luis Ortiz impresses" come up, you google Scott-Chisora and the word controversial pops up repeatedly.

Thompson literally gave up after being tapped on the head vs Wlad in their 2nd bout, he showed up for a paycheck.

Look at this "vicious" knockout lol, Wlad barely landed 2 punches

Their first fight went 11 rounds before he got stopped.

Afterwards Pulev, Takam, Scott all took him 12, never touched the canvas once. Against Ortiz he was dropped 3x for an easy 6th round KO.
