Americans get so butthurt when they aren't relevant. Truth is there's no reason to go over there. Only reason is a ppv fight with wilder who is so far away from being a ppv fighter it's ridiculous.

Somebody tell me how he makes more money fighting in the US? Until Wilder becomes as relevant as Mayweather , Pac or Canelo I don't see how AJ makes more money there comparing either a one off fight or a string of, say 4 fights.

If AJ is going to go to the States for 2-3 fights to build a fanbase before fighting Wilder who exactly is he going to fight to garner crossover attention? Breazeale? Washington? Arreola? Miller? Nobody knows those guys outside of their hometowns.

So if Wilder fights AJ in Vegas and it does 600,000 does that do better money than 100,000 sellout at Wembley or Principality stadium plus Sky PV ?

Its basically AJ saying to Wilder you need to earn your shot. Why should Wilder get a payday when he has not earned the right, as Hearn said 'who you beat boy? Who you beat?'. Wilder needs to beat the bodysnatcher to prove he is legit and build the fight but he is too *****. With the bodysnatcher soon to be be mandatory Wilder cant run forever!

Regardless of how much money he makes in the UK or what you think of Wilder's credentials, AJ should be aiming to be the first undisputed HW champion since Lewis nearly 20 years ago! Where's his passion? He's so dry

The US heavyweight division is dead, he's already a star and has better opponents to fight in the UK.

Judging by the current landscape, and the lack of talent on the horizon, Wilder could be AJs only chance to make a big splash in the biggest boxing market in the world. Realistically how many US HW title holders are there going to be during Joshuas time?

Fighting Wilder in the US gets people talking, gets your name in headlines. Going over there and fighting a bum in a showcase wont create the same buzz.
Everywhere I bolded is where you pretty much highlighted why there is no standout reason to go to the US.

                1. It probably makes less money there.

                2. So lets say AJ fights Wilder in the States and makes a 'splash' - splash being what exactly - that all the hardcore know him, and some casuals?

3.How many more US HW titleholders - not many - so who would AJ fight next after Wilder - realistically he'd be back in the UK and out of the spotlight in th eUS so any momentum he built up would dissipate.

                4. His name is already in headlines and people are already talking - in the UK at least - as you should know. Cant switch on the tv without seeing him on an advert - is that the case for Wilder in the US? Will it ever be. Days of George Foremen being on tv all the time have long passed - that was when boxing was still mainstream.

Why would he? at only 19 fights he is raking in millions. He seems to be the guy at the top, he is still a relatively new in the game and needs more fights under his belt, but because he has been KO everyone they had to move him quicker than normal. They have build him quite well to be honest and unless other countries are going to pay him better than what he generates at the moment then i doubt he would need to rush. He was talking about fighting in Nigeria the other day on talksport but i doubt that happens.

So who is stopping that from happening? Joseph parker has already fought in the UK trying to get himself known to the UK public, which mean a fight with AJ can be marketed in future, and the Wilder fight is also on the horizon. Those fights can happen anywhere in the world for all the belts.

Didn't wilder need to confront Brezeale with half his entourage with him? 😂

At the end of the day, Wilder didn't make it to the UK to fight Chisora
Wilder turned down £3m to fight Whyte

                      Joshua is the real deal!
