What a load of bollocks. Where's all your smaller athletes? They aren't in the NBA, Yank football. The rest of the worlds are in soccer. What's the reason for other countries doing better in the smaller divisions too?

You yanks using boxing as being the 6 most popular sport as an excuse but it's the 9th most popular in the UK.

Smaller athletes, even our smaller athletes are more likely to play football or engage in some other sport besides boxing.

Generally if you are smaller in the US you are weeded out of sports. Only the most gifted in some attribute make it. They are more likely to go wrestle than box.

LOL! I remember when the Galaxy signed Beckham. I remember him being in awe of US athletes.

Iím not a rah rah US guy but it is clear to real athletes that US has more than any other country and a higher average. Iím just watching right now Saquan Barkley and Odell Beckham. Super Freak athletes. They stand out in a league of freak athletes.

The US has one of the best systems for finding good young atheletes, which is something we really lack in the UK

most schools here literally only care about soccer and don't even play other sports apart from maybe you'll do 4 weeks of basketball and tennis on a rotation

we also don't have the college sports system like you guys do.

Basically your set up for scouting talent is a million times better than ours where if a kid looks at all gifted athletically he is forced to play soccer

Boxing reached the "golden era" in America around the 1960s/70s, largely thanks to Muhammad Ali. At the moment it's going through a decline for a number of reasons and it's not guaranteed that it'll recover. Might lose it's appeal in America and then return some years later, these things can be cyclical. But it's only been about a 50 year span before the decline came so it's a very short period of time if you compare it to other historical venues like the Roman Colosseum which was a hot-spot for gladiatorial combat for around 500 years.
